We are a family owned and managed caravan park that overlooks Lligwy Bay on the island of Anglesey, North Wales. With open space and a large playground for children to play, a footpath that leads directly to Lligwy beach, a shop for essentials, licensed coffee shop and a take-away we feel that we have something for everyone.

There is so much to do in Anglesey, and along the North Wales coast, that it would be impossible to compile a list of everywhere worth a visit. We have therefore picked a selection of the best!

Cycling

If you enjoy cycling then you will love exploring Anglesey under pedal power. Anglesey has several waymarked circular cycling routes, as well as being part of two national cycle routes. Each route allows you to marvel at the fantastic scenery that Anglesey has to offer, whilst providing opportunities to spot some of the islands beautiful wildlife. Whether you choose to join a set trail, or to explore the abundance of quiet country lanes, Anglesey is definitely a cyclists dream.

From Tyddyn Isaf you can access a multitude of footpaths that take you in every direction imaginable, so if you’re feeling active why not take a look at some of our favourite walks. You can choose to explore the coastal footpaths in either direction from Lligwy Beach, spotting the odd porpoise or dolphin as you travel. Alternatively, take a walk inland and ascend Bodafon Mountain. On a clear day you are guaranteed spectacular views across Anglesey to the Snowdonia Mountains or even the Isle of Man. If you don’t fancy the full 125 mile walk around Anglesey then don’t worry – there are 10 much easier circular routes that cover every corner of the island, from hidden monuments to coastal scenery.

Anglesey has over 125 miles of pristine coastline and is home to some of the country’s best beaches. Whether you are looking to bask on golden sand, surf the mighty waves, or scramble over iconic rock formations you can be assured of finding your perfect beach. Tyddyn Isaf Caravan Park has its own footpath leading to Lligwy Beach. Lligwy is a large, gently shelving sandy beach which makes it ideal for swimming or sunbathing. To either side of the beach there are large cliffs, which at low tide are perfect for fishing or even exploring the many tantalising rock pools.

Be it ice creams and sweets, shampoos or washing powder, sun cream or Frisbees – We only have a small shop but we try to stock all of your holiday essentials. Even better, if you need something that we don’t have in stock we will try and source it for you by the end of the day! For a more comprehensive shop you can find a range of supermarkets, high street names, camping stores, garden centres and a huge range of independent stores and boutiques within a twenty minute drive of the park. Although Anglesey is only small there are plenty of activities to keep guests of all ages and activity levels entertained. There are several golf courses, fishing lakes, riding stables, leisure centres, nature reserves and even underground copper mines as well as a selection of family attractions such as Anglesey Sea Zoo and Pili Palas Nature World.

Turn in any direction and you can be assured of stunning vistas, however if you would like to discover more about the intricacies of Anglesey then there are Country Houses and gardens, Castles, Neolithic ruins, churches, lighthouses, museums and geological wonders aplenty.

Local Produce
Local Produce

The residents of Anglesey are very proud to produce a vast array of local foods – featuring products such as the internationally acclaimed Halen Mon Sea Salt, Jaspels Craft Cider, and fresh Anglesey Crab to name just a few. The island even has the only working windmill in Wales, Llynnon Mill, which produces stoneground wholemeal flour using organic wheat. All of these products and many more can be found at the Island's regular Farmers and Artisan Markets.
